Melbourne 2009

In winter 2009 i stayed in melbourne for about 10 days. It was a perfect opportunity to explore the city, side streets, shops, cafés, markets, abandoned buildings, graffiti and just the appealing vibe of the city.

I had been to Melbourne many times, but this time i had fallen in love with it.

One night we (myself and my brothers friends) set to go take pictures of the abandoned silo nearby in Collingwood. Getting in was difficult but getting up to the top was worse. It was pitch black as we climbed the never ending flights of stairs to the top, the echo of our footsteps on the metal steps was thundering through the building.
The view at the top was brilliant. I set up the tripod and took so
me long exposure shots of the city.

On the way down, we stumbled across what looked like an abandoned office, or science lab or a drug orgy.

and i loved it!

- found a ridiculously dirty bathroom with cough syrup that expired 20 years back.
So i relayed a message...

There was mess, dirt, and loads of boxes and paper.

A message of great eloquence
